lyrics
I picture it clearly: modest home, black shutters, white vinyl. A room full, abloom, with roses darker and deeper than whatever horrible thing pooled on the concrete. Speckled with baby's breath to represent what the body now lacked. A body that would feel relief, if relief didn’t mean absolute absence. A mother begged a god who was like the body (absent, survived by grief).I breathe out of responsibility. I couldn't bear to make them grieve.
